PLEASE VOTE HERE: https://snapshot.org/#/ethtraderdao.eth/proposal/0x6a278d5d0c8e5fe5df366c9519e6f75e1ca6167696e9b736ec9ae3750b3ccfce
Currently, it is quite challenging to mention a particular governance poll or proposal in a conversation.
A user may need to invest a significant amount of time and effort in attempting to find a specific passed poll.
Drawing inspiration from other cryptocurrency communities, I propose the implementation of numerical code names for each governance poll, this would simplify their identification and referencing during discussions.
The solution involves assigning a brief alphanumeric code to each of the governance polls that have been passed in the past, and any future ones. My suggestion is: ETIP – (number). ETIP corresponds to ETH Trader Improvement Proposal.
Example: ETIP – 1 (Insert Proposal Here).
If this proposal passes, all future governance polls will be assigned an ETIP code when they are posted. This would mean after a proposal is approved, instead of using our old format [Governance Poll] (Suggestion), the title would be: ETIP – (Number) (Suggestion).
In short, implementing an enumeration system for proposals could help keep things organized and make it easier to reference past and present governance polls. It would also enable community members to learn about both successful and failed proposals.
The choices are:
[YES] Implement enumeration of proposals
[NO] No changes to the system

(Your vote only counts if you do it here).
#Current situation
This sub has around 2.3 million members, but only a small portion of the community votes in our governance polls.
#Problem
The issue with this consists on not having enough votes in a poll, meaning it won’t reach quorum. Therefore, the polls might not pass, no matter how good the recommendations are.
#Solution
To fix this, I recommend implementing the following measure:
• A voter earns a bonus of 5% karma for that distribution, along with an extra 1% bonus per additional poll in which a vote is cast. In conclusion, if someone votes in 2 polls, they will get a 6% bonus. If they vote in 3 polls, they will get a 7% bonus.
This bonus will come from the total amount of the distribution. If there are no polls during that period, nothing changes when it comes to the rewards a user would get.
This measure will be implemented after the upcoming distribution, in case the poll passes.
**Benefits:**
• This will amplify the governance use-case of DONUTs, increasing their utility.
• Encouraging new users to vote.
**Concerns:**
• Users may vote blindly/randomly just to secure the extra bonus.
The choices are:
[YES] Implement the bonus karma for voters
[NO] Don’t implement the bonus karma for voters

The issue with this consists on not having enough votes in a poll, meaning it won’t reach quorum. Therefore, the polls might not pass, no matter how good the recommendations are.
To fix this, I recommend implementing one of the following measures:
• Option A: A voter earns a bonus of 5% karma for that distribution, along with an extra 1% bonus per additional poll in which a vote is cast. In conclusion, if someone votes in 2 polls, they will get a 6% bonus. If they vote in 3 polls, they will get a 7% bonus.
• Option B: Equally divide 10% of the distribution among the users who voted during that period. If a user votes in one or more polls, the bonus is the same.
Please choose the option which you believe would be more favorable and fair to the community, by commenting "Option A" or "Option B".
